Icom Japan, announced today during the HamFair 2016 in Tokyo the IC-7610 a new HF+50 MHz transceiver.
This new transceiver will be the successor the IC-7600 and comes one year after the introduction of first ICOM SDR Transceiver, the IC-7300. The Japanese company has just announced the production this new mid-class HF transceiver, whose project is currently in the prototype phase.
IC-7610 Features
At this time no detailed technical specifications or documentation is available for the new IC-7610, Icom had just announced the main features, that take advantage of the new ICOM features introduced earlier into the IC-7300

IC-7610 Price and delivery dates
Icom has not yet announced final price and delivery dates, and looks like the product is still in the prototyping stage.
Unconfirmed rumors on the net report a price around the 3000 USD and one or more years for delivery date.
