Kenwood announce the imminent release in the market of a new version of the two-years old TS-590S, HF/50 MHz transceiver.
The new release will be named TS-590SG.
This new version offer some new features like a 500 Hz/2.7 kHz Roofing Filter as standard, Advanced AGC control through digital signal processing from the IF stage onward, CW decoder function visible on the display and via PC, and other features available as Firmware upgrade to TS-590S version owners too.
Estetically, looks like no changes from the 590S have been made.
