CW for the Hearing Impaired
By W2LCWThis website introduces a handheld device created to assist hearing-impaired individuals in learning and interpreting Morse code (CW). By converting CW signals into vibrations, users can physically feel the patterns of dots and dashes through a shaker, making it easier for those who struggle to hear the subtle distinctions in the code. Interestingly, the device may also benefit individuals with normal hearing by providing tactile feedback that could enhance the learning process. Currently patent-pending, this innovative tool is available to members of the Long Island CW Club as well as the general public. For more information, contact details are provided.
